I was very happy with my internship program. The research environment was also good. A pretty good learning experience. Its a good place to be for an internship abroad.
I landed at JFK Intl Airport thats about 18.7 miles from the university. 2 check in luggage and 1 cabin luggage was allowed. Excess baggage was not allowed. I did not face any immigration issues at the airport. The university did not offer any Meet and Greet service.
We had very good professors. I did not have to attend any lectures. We had very good sports and library facilities.
I stayed at private accommodation. Several university students shared one apartment. The social scene was multicultural with respect to everyone. Night life is busy: pubs, dance clubs Weather is pleasant to hot from May to July. Its a good place to be for an internship abroad.
