I enjoyed my program at the university. It was a great learning experience enhanced by the superb facilities offered here. Once in a life time opportunity.
I did not have to give in any exams for my selection to the internship program, just sent in my resume. Needed a visa, though...Interview was pretty easy. I got the tickets to my destination easily. Flew Lufthansa Airlines, I liked the service...but the Airlines did not offer any student concessions nor did it allow for extra baggage. I landed at Boston, its about 50 miles from the airport. I faced no immigration issues. Found my own way to the university as the university did not offer any Meet and Greet service.
I am very happy with the program structure, its really good. They have a good research environment here and its conducive for learning and research. I worked under professor H. Michel, I enjoyed the experience. I did not attend any lectures...the LHs were average. But I had access to the libraries and they were good, the sports facilities were also good.
I stay outside campus. Social life was great and the night life was awesome. Weather was fine.
