I interned at Virginia Tech. It was an awesome experience. Friends, go to USA to have a great time. My project was great too.

I didnt write any exams, submit essays or give reference letters as part of my selection process. I needed a visa and the interview was pretty easy. Getting the airline tickets too was not a prob. I flew Lufthansa, the flight was good and though it didnt offer any student fare we were allowed excess baggage. I landed at Roanoke, it was an hour by car to the instituiton. No immigratiton issues and I was picked up by the university representatives from the airport.

The whole internship package was great bcos we had excellent faculty to guide us and the program as such was well chalked out. I did not attend any lectures...we had a great library and had access to the sports facilities too.

I stayed at the university hostels, they were good. Social scene and night life were pretty cool. I had a great time.
